If you do not know the baud rate setting of the PK232MBX simply turn all power OFF to the PK232 then turn the PK232 upside down. Windows hyperterm can be use as a simple text based software to operate the PK232MBX. As mentioned in one response, a simple terminal program can be used for both text based packet and CW as well as RTTY etc.

I was loading up a new computer for packet and then poof. A plea for help!!!! I had a power outage while using the diskette for the software above and the software is now corrupt.
